Artwork setup
For best print quality, artwork should be CMYK, 300 dpi at 100% scale, with fonts converted to outlines and raster images embedded. Backgrounds should extend through the bleed area and crop marks are not necessary. Avoid thin borders close to the trim edge because normal cutting tolerance can make them appear uneven.
Standard artwork template
Safe zone 3.1" × 1.87" • finished cut 3.375" × 2.125" • full bleed 3.465" × 2.275".
Magnetic stripe template
Use this version when planning the back artwork around the magnetic stripe keep-out area.
How ordering works
- Select 500 or 1,000 cards and choose your artwork option.
- Tell us which POS software you use and the required magnetic-stripe encoding if known.
- Upload your artwork/logo and any POS encoding/data file available from your POS provider.
- RH Now sends a proof. Production begins after the proof and encoding details are approved.
Not sure about Hi-Co vs. Lo-Co? Select Unknown and provide your POS software name. We will use that information to confirm the production requirements before the order is released.
