How the Finder Chooses a Ribbon
1. Printer model
The model is matched to a ribbon family such as ERC-38, ERC-31, ERC-32, or RC700.
2. Color
Some families are available in black, black/red, purple, or another specific color combination.
3. Brand choice
Where RH Now carries both, you can choose a compatible/house-brand replacement or Genuine OEM.

Match the color
Black and black/red versions can share a family but serve different printing needs.
Check the station
Multi-station printers can use different ribbon families for different print mechanisms. If two results appear, verify the exact station or part number.
